Dale Jefferies

Dale interrupts show at the Vaudeville Mews

After following him on facebook, I saw  that Dale Jefferies was planning on attending a heavy metal show that was being put on by the band, Dark Mirror. Dale recently moved to Des Moines and has been seen at open Mic comedy nights, comedy shows, and lately, a local heavy metal concert. On April 7th, 2012, Dale Jefferies walked onto the stage as the band, “Cur,” from Cedar Rapids, IA, was setting up to perform during “MIDWEST METAL MADNESS!!!”

Check out Dark Mirror on facebook by clicking the link  below:

I did not get the chance to talk to the bands about the incident but I do plan to as soon as possible. However, I did get the opportunity to talk to Dale for a brief moment.  I asked him if what he did was planned and a part of the show. He said, “of course it was a part of the show. I was on the stage wasn’t I? I’ve been planning it since I left the bar.” I tried to elaborate by asking if any of the bands knew that he was a part of the show but to no avail. He stated, ” I was deeeee-runk!” After spitting on me, he stumbled out of the Mews. I didn’t want to bother him any longer. With that being said, I plan to keep up with him with hopes of learning more.
